Wondered if these types of places would surface again ... There used to be a couple  in Brisbane about 30 years ago ..

What a good idea for city folk. Just seeing for myself how little space alot of people actually have on the east coast.  Its starting to get like that in some Perth areas too now.

Yeah, I was just trying to remember the name of 'em.

I think it was an American concept that never really took off here.

Great idea.
I would do more on my wagon with acess to a hoist at reasonable prices.
Im getting a bit to creaky in the joints to be grovling on the ground

German concept I believe, that the Yanks tried copying.
I saw one in just about every town when I was playing soldier in Germany.
It wasnt until I got back stateside that they started appearing.
Great idea in my opinion.

So any in Sydney?

If I had a few mechanical skills then it would also help...

In the movie Christine they have one called "darnells" , I often wondered why we didn't have them here in oz, at the time (early 90's) when I saw it I just got my license and was visiting the wreckers nealy daily for bits and pieces, I thought it was a great idea

If memory serves, there is/was a similar set up in Cheltenham Road Dandenong, opposite the Saleyards/showgrounds area etc.
Somewhere just past Hammond Road on the South side.
Bird might be able to help maybe? with a yes or No?
