Title: 2"Dual hitch
Post by: Xoe01 on August 28, 2015, 08:29:11 PM
hi
I'm after one of these, to tow my trailer on and also add a bike rack. Off a Nissan GU patrol 2007.
I tow a camel bushman plus, heavy ish camper.
Has anyone seen one from an Aussie seller???
Have seen this from Amazon, freighted to Brissie, for $100, but I'm not sure of its quality & fit.

If anyone can help, would be fab!!

Yes, but I need both receivers to be 2" hitches not a towball.

Thanks

You know what you need, however I can't understand why your hitch wouldn't just bolt on in place of the tow ball?

It's a fulcrum that is extending your tongue out by what looks like 2-300 mm

This would effectively lower the weight you could safely carry on the towball and may also give you insurance hassles in the event of a claim, as it is not using the towbar as it was designed.

Or something like this.... So I can attached my hitch bike rack to the back of my trailer. The spare wheel currently sits too low....
