Hi guys,
I no longer need to use the jerry can holders on my camprite to store diesel as the long range tank in my tug gives me plenty of range so I'm going to use the jerry can holders to store extra water. I've previously been using steel 20L fuel jerrys and they fit fine, but I have no idea what plastic jerrys would fit. Anyone got any links to plastic water jerrys that have the same outside dimensions as the old steel jobbies?

Think you'll find most of the plastic jerries will be the same size mate. I use one plastic jerry from supercheap for water and modified another for a rubbish bin. An idea I pinched from this site. Most intelligent and ingenious peoples on here.

Well, I only asked as the 20L plastic water container I have (I think its a willow brand from memory) is too wide and I cant close up the latch. I've just had a look on the proquip website and their steel jerry with is 165mm vs the water plastic 179mm

Opposite lock carry a plastic water jerry can that fits into steel jerry can holders.
Think there are approx $50 each

I had another attempt at getting my water container into the holder - turns out with it full of water it expands enough to make closing impossible without letting some water out. Its a tight squeeze but I can get it in there
