Post by: Spacely Sprocket on August 08, 2015, 03:39:41 PM: Hi everyone, I found this forum via the Pajero forum & I must say you guys caused me many late nights. We've just returned from a 3 week trip to Central Aus & while it was probably the best trip we've done we decided it was time to retire the tent & start looking into a camper trailer. This place has been so helpful with all your collective knowledge & experience.
So we've done it today & put a deposit on a Lifestyle Extenda Elite from the guys up at Slacks Creek. They were very helpful & the quality of their campers looks first class. I'll post some pics when we receive it,can't wait

Post by: Spacely Sprocket on August 08, 2015, 04:17:14 PM: Thanks Rumpig, they recon 2-3 weeks only. They seem to be building more of their off-road vans rather than the camper trailers. Friends of ours are looking at one of their pop top rigs & were quoted mid October.

I was very fortunate to be able to fluke an near new AT11 with buckets of extras that saved me about $20K

The misses was stoked over that... Even better - I had zero waiting time to get me hands on it . ..

I can relate to the reasoning behind converting from tent to CT. My wife and I went through a similar process about 15 months ago. And wow, our Johnnos CT has changed our approach! We were mighty tempted by the Lifestyle as well
