Good morning all and happy mothers days to all the mothers here.
I have a camper that has a SS slide out kitchen and a SS slide out tray that I place my fridges on.
I am not happy with the current slide out systems that are used. Basically they are a couple of bearings (and I don't believe they are very good) that roll on various pieces.
They are not very smooth and often get caught.
What I am after are you thoughts on the best roller system to use to ensure a solid and smooth in and out motion. Also the best way to attach to camper and kitchen/fridge slide.
Hope there are some experts out there that can help.

Would probably be determined by how much room you have between the carcass and the slide out itself.
The extra heavy duty slides would require at least 20 mm a side and the heavy duty are anywhere between 12-1 5 mm.
Got some pics?
Measure it up and see what room you've got each side

dales133 - I have now added pics. See original post. You will also see I have plenty of room

Yea you've got stacks of room alright.what sort of lenth runners would you require?
If it was me I'd get some 3mm steel angle,40x40 or 40x20 if the former won't fit and mount decent runners to that and fix it down to the surface where the original slides are mounted.
Bolt it down if you can.
I can get you a more acurate measurement on the slides if you require it

Have a look at what these guys sell. But buy off their ebay store as it is cheaper

And ovesco.com.au
I wouldn't make them myself just buy good quality ones.

There's another mob on ebay that give Dunn and watson a run for thier money on price to.
You'll need to consider of course whether you want locking or non locking slides and the weight capacity, if you can get away with the 125kg ones over the 225s you'll save a small fortune.

In another post/forum, the OP was going to use these slides..
