Title: Anyone spent time at Murphy's Creek Escape
Post by: Vitara_JaycoSwift_Outback on March 16, 2015, 07:32:31 PM
SWMBO has come across Murphy's Creek Escape http://www.murphyscreekescape.com.au/ (http://www.murphyscreekescape.com.au/)  and likes the look of it and is thinking that we might spend a week there during the first week of the holidays.

Anyone spent some time there and wouldn't mind sharing their experiences? I'm not sold yet as I was hoping for some beach camping or on the bank of a big river some where.

Yes have camped there for the weekend however being from Toowoomba was nice and handy
Not sure I would go for a week unless you just want to sit around as not much to do

Very little grass especially near the facilities

Yep we stayed there a few years ago.. Was a good spot with good swimming when we went, not sure about having to hire a fire pit though

Yep, $10 for a 44 in half, can't remember if it was for the stay or per night. Think it was for the stay
