Hi Everyone,
We are going on the road very soon, got our list and checking it twice, gradually packing, repacking, repositioning and then satisfied. For the questions ??? Is there any truth that wool wash requires no rinsing? Collapsible buckets, wash baskets and kettles are only good to look at and do not wear well? I have a million more queries but I am suffering from C.R.A.F.T. right now, will have to post again soon! Thanks everyone, Rosie :D

Our collapsible Bucket cracked around the concertina edges and as far as kettles go, we use a stainless steel Billy. I do know that Eucalan Woolwash does not need rinsing, dont know about the rest

I have heard the same about wool wash but I can't see how it would be good to not rinse out your dirty camping clothes, you will get way dirtier than normal especially if you travel on dirt roads.
We use a collapsible tub for washing up & it works great. Not sure about the basket or kettle though.

What about a 20 L screw top tub with wool mix & 1/2 full of water & lasted to the CT . Makes goog use of corrugations at last . Rince the cloths at camp , hang to dry . Try it

I would be rinsing it, there would be chemicals of some sort and concentration and you do not want to find this out in the middle of nowhere with a skin irritation which could turn into an infection real quick.
cheers

Apparently, its not good on elastic. Best to rinse your undies or just buy new ones after the trip, which is what I did.
Got my folding bucket from Aldi and its held up very well. Still going strong.

Thanks for all the info everyone. As of today we are free of our house and making the most of our trailer. We are staying with our daughter and her family for the next week and then it's all out exploring.
