Title: Red Dust Stains on Jayco Roof
Post by: Paul (SA) on December 03, 2014, 09:08:15 AM
I have some straining to the roof of my Jayco where the bag awnings test against the sides. It is from red dust that has accumulated during a trip and then strained when rain came.

So far have only used an RV Wash from a caravan store.

Had anyone had a similar problem they were able to deal with?

Yep CT18 truck wash did the Job Nicley

I washed under the bag awning then kind of propped it out from the side of the camper to let it dry properly

Any rust remover product with phosphoric acid (the stuff in Coke) in it will do the job.  You will find it in Rust Remover sprays sold at Bunnings, BCF ect.  Spray it on, hose it off, job done.  Got the Kimberly "rust" stains off the gal chassis frame fast and easy.
