I recall somewhere someone post, with photos, something about mounting tent poles via a bracket onto the side of their camper. I am pretty sure it was a hard floor camper, possibly a Cub or similar.
I am looking for a bracket or similar to mount to the side of the camper to help with putting a tarp over the camper.

I have seen the one, but I think it was an Aussie Swag or similar, it is for the quick travel awning set up.

Yeah one of those

you're not thinking of the pics i posted of the poles on the KK's Quik awning are you by chance? if it's not these pics below, i recall someone posted pics of their set up in the same thread these went into, which was somebody asking about how these awnings worked i think. Can't help with what the thread was called though sorry

Wow, what a cool idea, making the most of something which is already in place, and obviously must be strong enough for the purpose as it holds closed the floor.

if you know the wind isn't going to get up, you don't actually need the 2 vertical centre poles i have used in the pics, but i usually put them up and rope them down just incase....would not be good if it was to let go i'd guess.

Nah not the one I was thinking of. The one I was thinking had the poles going vertical straight up the side of the camper. I think it was to mount a 'tropical roof' and hold it off the canvas of the camper. I would like to do similar but different.

Thought of making your own with 40 x 40 x 3 mm alloy angle?

Haven't found anything yet so I may have to get something made up

How about the kit used in the boating caper, such as this. It is stainless, strong and can cost a fair bit but will do the job with out failure.

pretty sure it's in the thread I was talking about, I remember seeing the pic in that thread as it was done differently to the KK, which is why I mentioned it above.

Could be it mate. Might have to sit down tomorrow while watching the V8s and see if I can find the thread
