Yeah, interested here as well. Had a couple of early jaycar units many moons ago and am keen for another of some description

We have a lacrosse pro weather station. As long as indoor and outdoor are displayed in the same screen. The last one we had to scroll through about 5 menus to get to the previous screen.
They are all wireless and very accurate.

I've used one of the Jaycar units before, worked fine and would buy again. Especially with the easy weather software so you can pull the data into excel and fulfill all your meteorological fantasies.

Bought one of these a few years ago and it works well for the price. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Pro-Wireless-Touch-Screen-Weather-Station-USB-PC-81-/390366063833?pt=AU_Gadgets&hash=item5ae3a16cd9 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Pro-Wireless-Touch-Screen-Weather-Station-USB-PC-81-/390366063833?pt=AU_Gadgets&hash=item5ae3a16cd9)
There are solar powered one's too for a few dollars more however I don't remember ever changing batteries in the outdoor unit so they last a long time.
I will probably upgrade to a colour screen model when this one dies but its still going strong at the moment.
Cheers

I have had around three of these now, made by Seiko I thought the would be good quality, first
one rain fall detector died just out of warranty, second unit lost communication with all outdoor
units. Present unit rain fall detector not working after a few months.
Check the rain fall detector I found the electronics is the same principle used in watches and cheap
games, ie a integrated circuit covered in a butile rubber dot, not what I would called ruggerdised
for use outdoors.
Have provided feed back to the manufacture, manufactures respone was you wouldn't expect a
weather station for the price to last more than a year or so.
I wouldn't recommend this brand.
Cheers
