Good Evening,
I was doing some research into Dash Cams, and realized that there must be an All-in-one device that includes all of these.
- 7" display
- reverse camera
- dash camera
- GPS navigation
- media capability, AM/FM, CD/DVD not required
However, i am unable to find one. Has anyone found one, not concerned about price at this stage, just doing the research at this stage.
Thanks SantaAus

I purchased one similar to this for the bogadoor 4-5yrs ago and the until is still going strong which is bloody amazing considering the price and where it's from, it's easy to keep the maps updated and the sounds not too bad either..

They run on WIndows CE 2 I think. I have contacted their support staff and they advised there is an android based version in the mix at the moment. No eta though.
I pushed a few buttons on this is my mate car, it was snappy.

I guess the first question would be what car do you have?

$500?? Sounds like time for a good 8" tablet with its forward facing camera, the Tomtom app and a rear mounted camera input off fleabay and as a bonus you get to use the tablet anywhere.

While I like the tablets, I dont think they would be a suitable replacements for an indash multi-function unit. Just another contraption cluttering the insides. While same can be said about the in-dash unit, its nicely tucked away, in the dash ;D

I think Polaris put one out. At about the money you want to spend.
Saw a spiel on it in 4wd action.
Spose to have Hema maps too.
I went to look at it at one of their outlets. To check whether the Hema maps were the full 4wd maps or the limited thing you get on the Navman Escape. Their website didn't seem to tell me. Nor could I find any reviews.
When I asked the bloke at the shop... He told me to buy a Hema....
You haven't listed off road mapping as a requirement. So it might fit
I have no idea if they are good or bad. Just they do (on the advert) what the OP asked.

I am using the Orion AVR6.1 and I love it.

Wow Wilsurf!! From your link-
RRP: $2,499.00
OUR PRICE: $699.00
Sale Price: $598.85
Savings: $1,900.15
but then it states it's a factory second so what do you have to pay for the real deal?
Sorry but at those sort of prices I can see why the all in ones are scarce in the marketplace.
-
I paid $630 for mine, it was listed at $990.
Mmm, it looks like JBHifi doesn't do them anymore.

Had a bit to do with these and the only thing I would add is to look out for features.
Some of the cheaper units won't let you listen to music while using the gps.
Some don't dim when the car lights go on. Some don't dim at all.
Some have crappy screens that are hard to see.
That said, I have seen a few good units and a few mates have them in their cars and are very happy.
I've actually been meaning to getting around to putting one in the playdo, but time is so short these day's...... :'(
Digoptions ones are pretty good.
They also honour their warranty!!!
