Gday,
Sam From Adelaide here. Family of four, two little ones 4 and 6 and we just bought an 1978 (we think) Jayco Dove from a friend. In ok shape but she needs work.
We have done a few international holidays in the last couple of years but it was relocating home to Adelaide from Darwin (we drove there and back) that we realized we have seen nothing of our own amazing country. We have stayed in some beautiful hotels with all the amenities but would love to leave all the technology and city life and just drive off for a while. Kids love the van as we have set it up out front to clean and plan. Looking for some advice/help with what we can and cant do so i think i came to the right place. Really look forward to this journey with the old dove ;D
Cheers Sam

Welcome to the Forum Sam. A great place to get the low down on places to see and mods to the camper. Nothing better for the lids than getting out in the bush away for the tech of the world

Welcome Sam from a fellow "Adelaidian".
Have a family similar to yours, wife and two boys 7 and 5 and looking to get out and see Australia. Wife and I love touring the country mostly, but also love pulling up stumps in the one place for a week or so.
Keep in touch...Paul
