we are thinking of purchasing a Complete campsite Exodus. We loved our Kakadu XT, but the kids are older now and they can go in swags, and something like the exodus would be a lot easier to just pull up and camp anywhere.
i would appreciate any feedback i can get from owners, and other options i should consider.
also do these things hold their value?
any help is much appreciated
Cheers,
George

We looked at them and really liked it.
However, from a practicality viewpoint, we didn't like the fact that it didn't look like you could sit up and read in bed, and once the bunks are set up inside, there is no other seating space available indoors (However this wouldn't apply to you if your kids are in swags).
We decided on an off-road caravan which ended up being cheaper money. Love their ensuite set up though with the drop down walls.
Good luck with your decision - there are a couple of people on here with them so hopefully they can give you a real life ownership experience.

We narrowed it down to three manufacturers when we went to Rocky Camping show.
Completed Campsite weren't at Rocky but caught up with them at the Mackay show.
Another option is the Robust Evoke ($79,000) made in Rocky which is nearly identical to the Exodus 14 but is on an Aluminium chassis and is about a tonne lighter.
The Exodus is about 2.5 tonne loaded depending on options, but one great design feature is that it is one piece body unlike the Robust unit.
The resale value of the Exodus is great, try to find one second hand, and see how much they are going for.
Tony from Long Point RV told me that they had an anniversary model for sale if that interests you?
Hope this helps?

Angus.
