Title: Bluetongue campers. Thoughts
Post by: Griggy85 on September 25, 2014, 12:00:51 PM
Looking at bluetongue campers on the weekend. Just wondering if anyone has one. Pros & cons. Or if you've heard anything.

don't know the company but the hardfloor CT's are imported, not sure about the softfloors.

Their soft floors are Aussie made trailers with Chinese tents. Looked at one recently and they looked pretty good

When I spoke to them at the Penrith show last September, they said they were going to stop making the Trekkas - Aus made trailer, Chinese tent (from a factory they partially own I was told)
They then made the comment "haven't sold any of the ones we're sourcing from China but have already sold 3 Trekkas today" My response was "maybe that says something?"
By October (when I took mine in for a repair) they were down to "the last 5 of which 3 are sold"

They're still advertising the Trekkas, so maybe there's been a change in heart?

btw. Cannot fault them for service. Any issue I've had, they've been up front and willing to fix without question.
