Title: National Campers & Bushranger Campers
Post by: Alan Loy on September 14, 2014, 09:17:27 AM
Does anyone know anything about either of these companies or their products?  I am starting to look at a "hybrid" at the cheaper end of the market.

Can't comment on them directly however from the websites the national ones look a bit commercial fridge truck to me. Bushrangers look ok.

My 2c I would look at second hand cubs or the Jayco expanda 14 footers. These things sell easily as they are name brands. With 2nd hand 14ft OB 2010 hard roof end models selling for around the $32k mark they are hard to go past.  Similarly the large cubs are good value.

Have fun.

I'm not going to lie to you Marge.

Have to agree about the National appearance, sort home build by a commercial operator.  Yet to see one in the flesh.  They are light simple and hopefully tough, if so then ugly is OK  ;D

Thanks.  Was the problem with the tent or the trailer or both?

Hi Alan, the problems are with the tent. The material which he uses for the cover is not weatherproof, moisture penetrates said cover and all the d rings for the pegs fell off the tent when last unpacked.Contact was made with him but he didn't want to know about it, so I am contemplating what to do with a tent that cannot be pegged down.I fully realise these things are imported etc but I would have expected the cover to be weatherproof at least
