I had to start work today, an hour behind time because of the dew.
First job, about 5 minutes with the snipper, and I missed seeing a small to medium, fresh as dog turd resulting in sh!t over my face, clothes etc.
Quick scrub under the tap, wash the crap off my clothes and back into it and finish job.
Second job, about 10 minutes into a job with the snipper on a property that doesn't have a dog..... Bingo.
I hit a medium to large, approx. 3 day old turd. SPLAAAAAT it goes again, crap everywhere.
After a second clean up, the owner comes out to see why i'm swearing etc.
He informs me, their friends had their dog there on the week-end..... >:(
We picked up all the turds he said, as we knew you were due today.
I informed him, he missed one by the shrub next to the pathway.
Fourth job for the day, and the big Husky had about 15 kilos of grass, mud and "stuff" under it and needs a hose out.
I've got the mower half way down the ramps on a vacant block of land and the customer has run her hose out for me to use.
Now, I've got everything all but done, so I stuck my head under it to make sure I got the lot, when a big blob of mess, went Ker-plop on my melon.
Oh well, third clean up under a tap for the day..... :-[
So then i'm home, showered and smelling Boo Tee Full and checking the weather for the long week-end, which for me, will include the Tuesday as well, to find its gunna blow between 15 to 25 knots all week-end, which will put a sudden stop to the proposed boating that was planned.
Some days, It just doesn't seem worth chewing threw the bed restraints, just to be at work for what really was....
A CRAP DAY.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the fly's were much worse today as well, so i'm guessing I missed some crap during the clean ups.

Reading through thinking what a Shit day you had, then I noticed on your profile where you live, Tin Can Bay.
That alone reduced the amount of sympathy you'll get.
That fact that you won't be able to take a boat out on that awesome bay, between Fraser Island & Heavey Bay, and it's just around the corner from you, bit more sympathy lost.
Me - I only had to endure spending 1-2 hours with the Ex.
So you still had the worst day.
My only suggestion - safety glasses

AND, the wind has kicked in nicely this afternoon, and will blow at 20 to 25 knots now until next Thursday and I've got a 4 day week-end.

Do you ever go out of the bar and turn right and hang around DI point?

We haven't yet.
We were going to the other week, but it was 3 - 4 metres on the bar, so chucked a U-turn and went elsewhere. ;D

I think it would be worth it some time......do a drive down for a reccy on the weekend it should be nice and out of the wind....probably crowded though.
Just got off the boss's rather large Mentawai's based boat....................................a rather amazing part of the world. I have wicked sea legs atm.....nearly fell down the stairs just before. :cheers:

Mine was almost as bad.
Out the front fixing the fence and my mate next door was sorting out his CT for the weekend away, he was saddled up and gone for the 3 o clock angry mum rush hour.
Then, my mate on the other side rushed in and out his door in minuets dressed up for a naughty weekend with the wife and no kids.
Following that, a quick run down and back on the pacific hwy had a count of at least 20 CT's heading sth.
Me, doing kids birthdays and more things like that for the weekend
