Today is POETS day, so I leave work early.
My trip home, takes me via a railway underpass, with height limitations, and a level crossing, not too far up the road.
It is a single lane underpass, and I noticed a bit of fresh debris on the road, I figured and light touch head on...
No biggie, then I spot what looks like an aircon cover on the side of the road.
Just passed the underpass, turn left, and I see a lovely new Jayco Outback caravan, on the back of a nice shiny black Range Rover.
Shame was, the Jayco JUST fitted under the bridge, but the roof mounted zircon unit, and skylights, didn't.
So the bridge sheared them straight off the roof. Poor bugger looked a little shocked, a few other cars had stopped to help/console the poor family.
Lesson here is MEASURE your load, KNOW how high it is...

Copper tube hanging off the back, shattered skylights all over the road...
