Those days, when you get home from work, it's been a real (hmmm how to say on a family friendly forum) poo poo, your shoulders are slumped, you're watching your feet, and as soon as you turn the door handle, two little voices yell out from inside "Daddy's home" and they run up and give you a big grin, kiss n cuddle.
Then the SWMBO sticks a brew in your hand, you head out the back to watch the two boys ride bikes, jump on the trampoline and yell out "Daddy, watch me, I jump so high".
And then, after all the mayhem has passed you remember it's Friday...
Yep, I like that a lot

It's a special time when they're young. Enjoy, they grow up far too quickly.

sounds exactly like my Friday......wake up feeling like crap with the flu and go to work as there's a job that needs doing so the renderers can continue going Monday morning. Struggle for 4.5 hours doing a job that should have taken 2 hours if i was feeling better. Go home and lie on the lounge feeling like i'm dieing, watch day time telly which is almost worse then feeling like i'm dieing...kids come home from school and start fighting with each other, which is a delightful experience with the splitting headache i have. Struggle through till dinner time where i then go to bed and lay down trying to watch the footy, inbetween dozing on and off. Eventually the kids have to go to bed so they come in and say goodnight to me, where the eldest then gives me a big hug and says...."i hope you feel better in the morning dad"....and the first thing she did this morning was give me a big hug and asked how i was feeling :cup:

Master 4 (Lucas) says "what's wrong Daddy?" So I told him I have a headache.
Then he gives me a cuddle, a kiss and a little rub on the shoulders and says "there you go daddy".
Such a good little soul...
