Title: Outdoor solar floodlights
Post by: BLKWDW on April 23, 2014, 11:25:26 AM

Anyone have any dealings with outdoor solar floodlights to light up an entertainment area. Roughly 10x4.5m in area. Something reasonalby priced. How long do they last of a night?

Whats reasonably priced?
I would guess how long they last = how much charge they hold which will go up with price.

100 watt solar panel on shed roof...small 27 ah battery and 10 amp reg in shed .cable under stones up through inverted pot .. bulb is a 3 led down light unit pointing up into the glass round lampshade..the 100w panel is overkill but I own the business lol ..a 20 would have done..Mandrake

Bloke next door has one with motion sensors from Bunnings .
If you can switch off the sensor it would be OK..runs off a 15 watt panel to a 7 ah battery to twin floodlights...Mandrake
