In a younger life, yes. These days, not so.

......whenever I can....   Most camping trips involve surf.
Still try to get to Crescent Head a couple of times a year, been doing that since the 70's
My boards are just getting longer the older I get  ;D

Young bloke has started surfing so has got me back in the water. Nothing better than paddling out with him. Although boards are longer than they used to be be but still having heaps of fun.

Try to get out as often as I can. Work gets in the way these days though. Most camping trips involve a spot where surf is not too far away, if I have any say in it.

Nice part of the world that.

And that too, it does get a tad busy nowadays though. Byron is the same, Noosa too.

The northern rivers and mid north coast of NSW is wonderful. Even away from the coast is nice.

We always travel with a couple of boards on the roof. Even when going bush the journey usually ends up with a couple of days spent on the coast to sate the appetite. Funnily enough, even though the beach is only a short walk from our front door our holidays still revolve around beaches and estuaries. I do enjoy the medicinal delight of salt water, its therapeutic you know, cleanses one's soul it does.
