Went to the Brisbane 4WD show a couple of weeks ago. Visited the OZ Tent stand and was talking to one of the reps. I was talking about the new Foxwing awning bags and enquired about the cost of a new one. When he asked why I explained my old style faded bag and problematic zippers.
He called over Chris, who happens to be the boss and asked him about a new bag. Chris talked about how the design had changed and improved and then said if I cut the label off my old bag and sent it to him, he would replace it free of charge. I explained I was happy to pay, but he said it would be sent FOC.
Today the new bag arrived by courier with a hat.
Great and unexpected service. Thank you OZ Tent.

Yep, I had the same great experience with the bag for our Oztent stretcher.

And the free advertising he got from it, word of mouth sells a lot.
Been some great news lately, happily I was the recipient twice.

Well reports like these make a difference when I purchase items. Customer service is right up there on the list for me.

Yeah, what ever happened to this sort of thing? It's like if a restaurant or take away food place stuffs up your order, takes too long, or just plain forgets about you all you get these days is a "oh I'm so sorry sir, it'll be fixed up/on its way shortly". How about if they said we will refund your $ but you still get the food? A very small cost in the grand scheme of running a business but the PR that this 1 act could give would be worth more than the $1000's spent on advertising by a lot of companies.
Good work oz tent, I would choose them over other brands based on this as they deserve the custom. :cup:

I have several OZtent products purchased from BCF and am very happy with the quality and how they have worn.
I have'nt had any need for repairs but it is good to know that they have a good back up service.

Oztent are a fantastic product. Lets hope they can maintain the business model.

Customer service is the key....
I think everyone can accept that things do go wrong from time to time, but it is the companies response when it does that will set them apart for the long term..... :cheers:
I like oztent products as well, and this is handy to know.
