Hi Everyone,
So I know that everyone’s been waiting (a long time) for the release of Tripigy.! Guess what this week it looks like we will go initial release (public beta.) And it’s an opportunity for some myswag members to become a part of team Tripigy!
What does this mean, well, we’re looking for people in the area’s/regions below that travel around. Even if you’re not in these area’s but travel a lot and are very keen to become apart of the team please let me know. We figured that this is probably one of the best places to seek guys to help out.
What’s a team member do? Well it’s simple, one of the core elements of Tripigy is our places database. Although it’s been heavily populated, team members can help get photos, content, and verify listings. I should point out this is NOT a full time job (that “may” come later). Right now we’re looking for keen people to help out and in you’re particular area you probably know about the camping close by.
What team members will get right now, is full access to everything on Tripigy, plus… (Depending on the involvement you want to be, there will also be the opportunity to earn money ) So much more coming, including POI, databases and much more. Team members aren't expected to do that much, more help with ensuring our Data is up to date.
An example of help, is the next time you go out camping in the area, send in some basic details and some pictures.. (you may already have some that can be used.) its not hard to do, and it's a side thing for someone interested to get involved. Over time and as required we will review additional team member.
So the best way to get hold us is to email us at team.support@tripigy.com (or PM here). Let me know how much involvement you want to do..

yeah as you can imagine there's an insane amount of work and effort.
I can tell you the last backup i saw of the code base was 198MB (for web sites thats insane!) I think once everyone see's the "launch" size they will understand why it's taken a while.
I'm pretty happy with the current build, the Mobile platform is still about a month away, but the core platform is ready for testing. I've got the guys drip feeding into the db some of the places for release, we've decided we will only go with certain content and activate the rest over the coming month or so. (as we find bugs and updates - which will be many..)
I'll post full release details once we get closer to the launch.

Hey foxy ... all the best for the new venture.
I noticed you're on the Goldie, so you probably have that area covered. If not I'd be happy to specialise on the Tugun through to Bilinga stretch. It'd be a hard slog, but I'm up for it.

Hi Justin,
Just sent you an email, I'd love to help where I can, we try and explore a range of territory in Southern QLD and Northen NSW.

Hi Everyone,
And thanks for the fantastic PM's and emails. We're getting close to my reach that i wanted to try and get..
I'm missing people from Tasmania, South Australia and WA..
Plus anyone else that feels that they can add some value.
Thanks to everyone, and i am sure we will go public beta this week (maybe late this week) and will certainly post for people to view.
