A former work colleague of mine gave up work about eighteen months ago to look after his wife who was ill with cancer, unfortunately she passed away about twelve months ago. Then his mum passed away, then his dad now I have just had a phone call to say he was killed yesterday in an accident while on a fishing trip with his son.
That twelve / thirteen year old boy not only had to go thru the horror of finding his dad but in the last twelve months has lost his mum, grandma, grandpa and now his dad.
So grab your kids and give them a cuddle and live life as if today is your last, I am going to

Jeezzzuzz that's terrible. I feel sorry for the young bloke. I hope he has some family about who will take him in and pick up the pieces for him.

Absolutely shocking news mate. Yep that sure is a reality check

You can't begin to comprehend what that child is going through.
Hopefully he has heaps of support,it makes you think that we really don't have a lot to be concerned about.
-
That's very sad news and all the best to him!
-
That's just wrong.
-
absolutely devastating

I really hope he doesn't end up a Ward of the State.
Because then he's going to be totally screwed up when they're finished with him.
-
That's unbelievable . Hope the young fellow has a lot of close support, he's going to need it. Makes me start to wonder about the injustices in this world.
Going to give the grandkids an extra hug.

x eleventy + what everyone else has said.

Treat everyday as if it's your last. I hear stories like this all the time, my parents have two funeral homes plus was in the industry my self for 8 years but stories involving young kids do get to you.

I'm at Lakes Entrance and just about to put up a comment about Victoria and rain.
Not now, my problems are very very minor compared to what this young bloke has gone through and right now going through.
My heart goes out to the young fella and if he is reading this, well I'll give him a cuddle.
All the best to your mates son MACCA

Just hope there is someone to ensure he gets on-going counselling, otherwise the psychological repercussions for him are likely to be huge.
May be very difficult for him to bond with anyone after so many 'leaving' him in this way at such a young age.

That's absolutely tragic macca.
Does he have family looking after him?

I am not sure at the moment, they were up on the NSW coast, they lived in Melbourne, but I think so
