First Across Australia - about the Burke and Wills expedition from Melbourne to the Gulf
SBS One - 8.35pm Friday February 14.

Post by: olddigger on February 15, 2014, 04:19:30 PM: For some reason, Perth had both episodes one after the other last night. Nodded off during the first one, watched the second, agree it could have been much better done to emphasise the drama and tragedy of the whole business.

I thought the same Al, ended up turning if off after the second half came on as he was back tracking all the time. But it was nice to see parts of the country where we have been

Might have to do some searching to find it.

Post by: mike and tracy davis on February 15, 2014, 05:56:54 PM: Yep, this was a bit of a disappointment, typical history channel crap with the series padded out with the same images, repeating everything after a break and very little detail. In fact you could of wrapped all the information presented from the two episodes into about 15 minutes. >:(
