I am after some used conveyor belt rubber to put on my car/camper for an upcoming trip..I have been looking on the web and am finding it hard to get any.
Does anyone know where you can get 2nd hand conveyor belts in Brisbane ???

Have a look for a belt splicing company as they normally work with conveyor belts and sometimes have some old belts, or they may put you in contact with a place that does.

Could go for a little drive to Toowoomba.

A lot of the local quarries around here sell off the used stuff. Perhaps you could look up one of your locals and see if they have any?

Craig, I think colour does matter when it comes to white..especially considering how dirty it will get. And you of all people know what happens when you mix White and dirt ;D ;D

I got mine from the local rubbish tip - from memory it was about $6 for 4 metres.

Just check the conveyer rubber out before you get carries away making you mud flaps, I used to use it but it's just to rigid and every time it hits the ground (curbs, speed bumps) it makes a hell of a bang coz there's no flex. I've since changed to rubber about 6mm thick, doesn't flap around to much but doesn't make a racket either.
Just a thought anyway.

Ohhh, I'm a southsider.... any idea where I could get some from. I used the 6mm rubber from Clarkes Rubber but it tore off in 6 months :-(
