Well it is 10 years ago today that My Wife, Eldest son and I Landed here in Australia from the UK (from just outside Liverpool)
What can I say ,,,,,,,,, simply it has been the best thing we have done in our lives
we now have 2 sons a POM and a Aussie, we have made some fantastic friends and have enjoyed every minute, of course it has not been without its rough times I've lost my job a couple of times, and other stuff, but you dust yourself down and get back on with it, we know we are so much better of not just finacially but our whole outlook on life is much more positive and the future for our boys certainly is more secure and has better prospects.
Of course everywhere has its problems but belive me this is still a fantastic country that if you are willing to work will reward you for it (I dont want to get into any political arguments)
We love camping of course, were are involved with Scouts, schools etc and my wife is now studying to become a primary school teacher, In 10 yrs we have not been back to the UK but plenty of friends and family have been here to see us , we may go back for a holiday in a few years but would prefer to do the whole Europe thing with the boys and see the places we never did but that will take some serious saving and we would much rather explore Aus at the moment.
so here is to the quickest 10 yrs and the best by far  (we even cheered for Australia at the mcg last friday in the 20/20,,,,,,,,, of course who would bother cheering England at the moment ;D)
Graham, Candie, Harvey and Murray

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie

I'm not the one with the accent ;D
-
Yeah but did you feel a twinge of sadness about England getting pummeled in the cricket? (that's a truer test of your Aussie bonafides)
-
Congrats in the decade and well said.
-
Thanks everyone
Sorry no Tattoo D4D ( I'm scared of needles) but it is on the back of the Nav and the Tambo
I think one of the things I love about living here is that nearly everyone is from somewhere else even if they have to go back a generation or two , so there is tons of interesting stories and tales and taking the p*ss out of each other, but its the fact that they all call Australia Home that makes it so special (and the fact I can get the Pommy shows on foxtel makes it easy ;D)
Grahamo
(thats Aussie for Graham)
