We never really use the awning but have over the plats few weeks. I noticed that the awning seemed too long when setup ( about 30 cms).
I have had the van 2 years so was expecting when I spoke to jayco it would cost me as it's out of the warranty period, called Jayco Prestige this morning, sent them a photo with measurements, they rang me back within 10 minutes, told me to drop the awning off on my way home from holidays, they will make a new full set of annex walls & put an updated roof awning on NO CHARGE :cup:

Nope I have dealt with the ops manager in the past. They have always been very good to me. I even mentioned that I broke the water filler door during the high winds and he said to remind him when I pick up the new annex and he'll replace it and give me a spare. Yep their quality at times is questionable but they back their product which is all I want

Cant fault Prestige on the service, we were going to Warnambool for a couple of days and when getting ready to go could not
get the roof hatch to close fully rang them and they said to call in on the way down and was fixed while we waited

Only wish I lived on that side of the world. Jayco are fantastic, it's just the local dealer(service dept. really) here that sucks.

Agree with you on that on one topender - ended up having to contact Jayco head office to get work done on ours at a third party as the Perth dealer was extremely difficult to deal with - alarm bells should of started ringing when within the first set up we noticed a fault, got told to get back in touch with them when we had a list of faults that needed addressing. Once they had our money they didn't give a damn about us & if it were not for the support from Jayco head office we would never buy a Jayco again.

It is a shame but it seems like everyone I've spoken to on our travels has the same story. Sucks we don't have a choice, but I will probably buy Jayco again. I will drive over east next time though even if it costs me more. Judging from most peoples comments about Prestige it will probably work out cheaper anyway and I'll use an independent to service warranty issues I can't sort myself if and when required. The title of this thread should read "Thumbs up Prestige" too!
