Title: Drive line Oils

I want to change the diffs and T/F case oils on my 80 cruza
What do you Guys recomend

Use what the service book recommends.

My take on it, stick to known brands like valvoline and you can't go wrong

Hey Brett, just did all the fluids on my 100 series and if you go on the oil company website they have the listings of what you need to use.

I agree, use good oils, they do make a difference these days and even the viscosity is important for certain parts, gear boxes blah, Blah.

l was quoted $800 to do this in the Pajero . Bought the oils Penright for $280  replaced it with another Swagger help , then drank the difference  .
Follow the makers chart & you cant go wrong  :cheers:

API- GL4 or GL5 SAE 75W-90 for transfer case

Diff oils 80W -90

$800 for diffs, gearbox and Xfer case!!!
I would never take my vehicle back to that business again. What a rip off.
