Gday Guys n Girls
The wife and i are trying to work out where to head this christmas. Some where and some where remote is on the cards.
We r thinking Kosciusko national park. Has anyone done this?? Any tips, route options (4wd and 2wd) and great camping spots would be amazing.
Give me your thoughts swaggers.

So many camping options there you might need to narrow it down to get a few more replies.
We spent last Christmas at Three Mile Dam near Kiandra. Bl@@dy freezing. Ate our ham and salad wearing all the clothes we had and visiting the neighbours briefly between drizzle patches. But at silly o'clock one morning we had a mob of wild brumbies stop to eat just outside. Hard to sleep when a brumby is rubbing against the camper. Very cool.
Previous year we were at the same place from the 27th dec. Lovely and hot and great in the kayak on the lake.
Popular places are Geehi or Tom Groggin. That also means there will be a fair few other people there. Some nice tracks nearby.
A week ago we went up Long Plain Road. Several great camping spots near old huts, but a longish drive to town for more supplies.
Really depends on what you want to do.
