And only one 4wd amongst them.
From:

Here are the first 5, I'll post the others up shortly.
Me, I'd like the Merc, or the Datto!
-
Here are the rest.
Don't think I'll put the D'marge magazine in question on my reading list!
Guess the writer has an appreciation for Ferdinand Porsche.
What do you reckon is cool?
-
I am guessing his taste is very different to mine. None of these would be on my cool list. Each to their own I suppose. :D
-
The Moke! :cup:
-
I'll take that 318is please, they were little rippers especially with a TO3 turbo
-
Of the ones pictured, the only one I have driven is the Alfa GTV V6. It was a nice drive. In the hands of its owner, It was a weapon, as long as you kept it in its favourable rev range of between 4000 and 5000rpm!

Karman Ghia, beautiful car

Only ever got to drive one of these which belonged to a mate. Not the same I guess!
-
Nah that's a fastback, my brother had one
-
The Datto for sure. They were a sweet car to drive.
-
The Alfa for sure, perfect engineering in that fine vehicle.
I had the pleasure of building the gear box and diff for a V6 version once upon a time, and for those who may not know, the gear box is attached to the diff.
The test drive was me hanging on for dear life on the Old Pacific Hwy nth out of Hornsby at 01:00 am on a weekday. Still remember it well, nobody on the road, and a mad Italian at the wheel........
-
I have, and have had a few Alfas over the years. I'd have another GTV6 in heartbeat. Have to admit I've been coveting the 928 though, and the Moke.
-
The Datsun 260 for me and also the VW Beetle
-
Im partial to the Beetle.

x2 although the rims don't look factory :)
-
I had a 76 Moke back when I was a younger lad & it was the most fun you could have on 4 wheels. I would have one in the shed right now if I could. Had a 76 clubman & a pretty hot 68 mini Deluxe as well. Good times.
Cheers, Mike.
-
I would have many/any of them .........................however the Fiat 124 Spyder is a beauty!
-
The Moke! :cup:

Same here, love the E30's. My mum had an E21 320 years ago and the old boy had an E36 318 for 15 years up until last year. Both were like go karts, but lacked straight line handling. A snail would have fixed that!
As for the list, not bad, but I'd ditch the bug for a MK1 Cortina.
-
No. 1 is totally awesome.......although it aint too second hand as the pic they used is off the current pume 2007 - 2013

Datsun 260z for me. Always wanted one.
Karmann Ghia too! Slow but the coolness makes up for it.
Owned an Alfa GTV6. Loved that car. Very quick
Cheers

+1 GTV6 (but only as a second car that gets driven on Sundays)
Had a 318 (carby) from the first series in Germany many years back. Two tone lime green :) fun to drive but had snap oversteer which kept you "focused" in the twisty bits. Only caught me out once and I still, after almost 30 years, remember the surprise of facing the other way on a narrow road in the Odenwald region. Four speed manual meant sitting almost on the redline on the Autobarns. Didn't need to look at the speedo :)
Back to work....
