Title: UHF channel stickers
Post by: olddigger on July 27, 2013, 01:00:45 AM: I'd like to put a "UHF Ch 18" sticker on the CT. Can you get them in Perth? Tried Camec today and they knew what I meant but did not sell 'em.

Can even get hi-viz/glow in dark lettering. (think of the bling!)

That way u can get ur name printed out in a nice script

If you use CH 21 on the Pacific Hwy it will be very quiet ;D

This allows the monitoring and scanning of all channels, so if someone on the Tanami or CSR does get in trouble, we frequently pick up their signal.
Often my son simpl does "welfare checks" when he hears people travelling and communicating on UHF, from "Mulan Base 1", making sure people are okay. On good days we can talk with the Granites Mine.

yep...will be very quiet.........UHF 29 is the Pathetic Highway channel.
