Looking at getting some mud flaps for the front and rear of the CT.
Not a whole lot on fleabay. Has anyone bought recently? Autobarns?, Supercrap, Truck Spare parts, home made from a sheet of rubber?
Advice and or pics would be good. Muz.

Got mine from Qld Diesel Spares at Rocklea. Only $13 each. Heaps of sizes. Maybe a bit far for you but you could try a local truck parts mob.

Or even try your local truck dealer
Isuzu use to give them to you if you had one of their trucks

Truckline or Clarke Rubber get a length of rubber and cut to size
-
$30 per metre for reinforced rubber from Mitre10, cut to size

Mate seriously, check out ebay, ive had to buy a couple of sets, and always seemed to get a fair deal thru evilbay.

Your local TJM dealer.

+1 for Qld Diesel Spares, I picked up some plain black ones for the rear and Clarke rubber for a full width one for the front.
-
Clark Rubber have a good selection to.
-
Autobarn do have some that would be suitable for the rear of your camper.
The big green shed has rubber by the meter that I used for the front of the camper, cheap too.
Actually come to think about it, I have a spare set of flaps around here somewhere if you want them. Surely postage can't be too much? Pm me if you want them and I can mail them out monday for you.
Cheers

Thanks Evo, that is a kind offer. I will try and source my this time, just thought I would get a few ideas on what others are using first. I find that usually a couple weeks after I give things away that has been sitting around my shed (like mudflaps) mine will break or fall off. Murphy's law.
Thanks anyway mate.

Thats ok, I got them from work for mine. As I didn't think mine would come off in one piece when I was sandblasting the trailer.
Turns out they did lol. So brand new pair of flaps. As I said if you want them I can post them up, so it'll be like a $5.00 pair of mud flaps lol
(shhhh I do the same thing.... Just don't tell SWMBO as she would sell the tools haha)
Cheers

Clark rubber for mine as it allows you to play around with custom sizing to suit your needs. In my case I bought 450mm off a 1200mm roll and cut that in 2 for 2 flaps at 600x450 here-

Comes in various thicknesses and grades but the HD reinforced stuff came down to a choice of 4.5mm or 6mm thick and I chose the lighter one for flexibility as they bend back and deflect rocks downwards but then I have final protection for the strays. I let the road saw them off to the right height as I forgot to hitch the Jayco up before measuring the drop ;D
