This guy has been mentioned here many times, here is a warning Fair Trading have issue today, via their Facebook page.

I just posted the link to the 4wd action face book page and asked them about future advertising with this turkey. There is a full page spread for RV4x4 on page 189 of the current mag. Doubt I will get a response, but I will post it up if I do.

Good work Jas, he has been advertising in 4Wd action for a long time.... I was nearly sucked in, if it wasn't for forums I would've been. By the way, it is on page 213 on issue 200.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news Tjupurula..... but....I just had a look at the RV4X4 website, I don't trust any website that doesn't have any contact details or address....
They are dodgy mate.

They are dodgy mate. He has been at it for years, once people wake up to him he gates a new business name and goes again. RV4x4 is the latest venture. His warehouse is in western Sydney at seven hills.

Im pretty sure i purchased solar panel off this con artist via paidtomuchbay a year or so ago, they were supposed to be 140watt but ended up being 100watt, had to lodge paypal dispute to get refunded , ended up getting the refund and told to keep the overrated panel

We made a purchase on line about a week after seeing an advertisement in a reputable magazine. I will wait a couple of weeks first, as we get mail weekly only by the "mail plane"/

MDS, I'll come with you. I hate seeing people get ripped off like this. TJ, you may get lucky, he has to service SOME of his customers.....
As for magazines add, they do not vet them, nor should they have to, but seriously, this guy has been causing trouble for consumer for years...

Mate if you paid by PayPal or credit card you will be covered. You can claim for non-delivery on both, I have done it before and it's easy.

He actually has a warehouse to ship goods from? We got done by his Solar store. After a small fight we got our money back. I think from memory we went through Paypal. Dont ever pay by credit card its just as good putting into a Pokie.

Unfortunately the banks know that we gnerally earn less than what people get on the dole, whatever I earned when I was working usually went on my family, and feeding other kids breakfast sometimes. Aboriginal Legal Service have promised me they would get onto the matter next week, or possibly take it to the media. I may as well use political correctness" and bring someone undone for ripping off a black fella, I think the threat of that will have him comply quickly enough.
By the way, I have a brown belt, it is a RMSWilliams and hold my pants up nicely, don't need any black belts.

Pretty disappointing by 4x4 monthly. They spruk about family's and the Aussie way in the great outback then knowingly allow a scum bag like this to advertise with them ripping off family's.
Very poor form from them as well. IMHO. as you cant tell me that no one at the company reads a forum of has heard of the situation. and posts have been pulled on the 4x4 action forum. so they know >:D >:D >:D

Thankyou to all those who offered to help, we got our money back. The dept of Fair Trading emailed to say they were aware of him, and the Dept of Indigenous Affairs apparently told him they were going to the media iof they ripped off "naive desert people" and this time, it seems like that was what we were.
