Not sure if this has been mentioned.

Does this mean Jayco's are now going to be Fully Sick???
-
Will this improve the much -talked-about quality control issues at Jayco?

Joel is a mate of Gerry's, has been for years and is involved in the cycling team behind closed doors

oh noo ,where gunna start seeing jayco's with cheesy daytime running lights, a rear spoiler and fully shick 26' rimmmssssss mmmmmaaaaattteeeeee
-
With this feller's background, maybe we will see caravan general tech catch up with such modern technology as colour TV and the cordless telephone!
-
So we'll see more jayco owners pushing broken down vans home?..
-
Given that the impetus behind o many of the impressive 'fibreglass' van builds on this site is disillusionment with the 1950s approach to building vans it would be good to see someone a bit closer to modern automotive techniques bring some innovation to a leading van manufacturer.

The new Jayco's might have a new sticker:
Jayco, I just want one

Great news, so now we probably get.
Ill fitting plastics
Uncomfortable seats (wound right back!)
20" rims and go kart suspension
Horrendously loud colour schemes
Throw away the Drizabone and Akubra and get yourself a muscle top and baseball hat...
-
Makes sense from what I have read on this site as apparently the Jayco's are just Holden together....;D
Probably shouldn't say that considering I take delivery of my Jayco Outback in about 3 weeks! :D

Could have been worse. It could have been Nissans zd30 designer.
Then we would have got wheels that suddenly fall off, electrics that are crap, front gas struts that don't hold, leaks and poor build quality.
Ohh..hang on a minute...

I'm surprised to hear that. I thought that despite it being seemingly common that one would find issues, the redeeming feature was that you can get a Jayco serviced or repaired pretty much anywhere.

That was my opinion until I received my camper back from its last warranty fix up with far worse issues than when I sent it in and it far longer than what we where told and it should have taken. If it was anyone else it could have ended very very badly. Let me just say no brakes wrong hub big mess! Not what you would expect from our sole Jayco dealer here in WA. The end result was me doing the work myself with them supplying the parts and everything needed to do the job. Like I said lucky I was a) able to tell there was an issue b) able to rectify it. Not good at all! Needless to say my camper will never go anywhere near there again and if one day I do buy another I will travel East to purchase and use other recommended repairers for warranty issues.

Haha was thinkin' the exact same thing!!!!!

Poor bloke..........but I suppose ya gotta put food on the table somehow !!

Having spent time in both hsv and jayco factories. This person can help improve jaycos process. Which should lead to improved quality. The level of automation is much higher in hsv. As one would expect. That. If done properly creates a more consistent quality product. :). Good for jayco. I guess. :)
Never understood the hsv slogan. If you just want one. Is the one you have not already good enough/Shite?? :))

The JSV's will just have different wheels, lots more plastic, and cost double the price!!
-
and the indicators will also be removed.
Because I think HSV remove them when they modify the Commodores?
Seems to be a rarity to see them used on HSV's in Melbourne...
-
Hmmmm. Chev badges on Jaycos next?
HSV don,t put Chevy badges on their cars, it is the morons who buy the Commodores that rebadge them.
-
I think most manufacturers are selling indicators as an optional extra.
-
I believe he's now gone back to HSV
