Title: 4WDing
Post by: Hollowaymoon on April 09, 2013, 09:15:57 PM
Hubby returned home this evening pumped to the eyeballs from a 4WD course to ramp up his limited  knowledge.  He took our trusty rodeo through ravines, washouts, soft sands and huge rock climbs, emergency braking on loose surfaces and lots of other stuff and would do it all again in a heart beat just for the thrill of it.

Time for a  :4x4: :4x4:

Well, I would put up the pics if I could get them off the forward facing camera, just not at that nerdy stage yet but will try.

Cost of the day was $288 from 8am till 5pm including lunch and coffees etc....

You'll not only be more confident, but safer in the knowledge of knowing what your doing........

Hi Hollowaymoon. Who/where is the course available from? My wife is keen to do a course before taking our 80 off road in anger.

The course is available in Cairns, but the actual driving takes place somewhere outside of Kuranda.

I did a 4wding corse a few years ago, and was surprised with the amount of new knowledge i walked away with. I only think twice now instead of three time when i come across a tricky situation.

Now I need to do a course in keeping my mouth shut because apparently I'm a very very bad back seat (front seat in our case) driver.  :o :o  but I don't believe it!!!!
