Title: Hi everyone
Post by: NickBPatrol on October 18, 2012, 07:56:00 PM
My name is Nick. I have been a lurker on here for a some time and love the forum. I currently own a Nissan Patrol GUIV. It has the mighty 3 liter turbo diesel engine that has had the pin to the grenade welded into place (hopefully). I have set it up as a tourer. I bought it just over 2 years ago and have added a heap of gear to it. It has a Cross Country intercooler, 3" lift, Outback drawers, Eclipse Sat/Nav, Autron cruise control, ARB fridge & Platinum Dropslide, Warn XDC9500 winch, Canvas seat covers, Nissan bullbar, ARB rear bar, rear worklight,Outbook roof console, Icom UHF, 55w HID spotties, Provent catch can, dawes & needle valve, Safari Dtronic chip, blocked EGR, and a heap of other stuff that i can't remember right now. My camper trailer is a Mars campers hard floor that I picked up for a good price off ebay. This has had a full 12v and 240v power system installed, 120 AH Thumper AGM battery in an ARK power pack, spring over suspension conversion, Mchitch coupling as well as interior & exterior LED lighting. All of the cheap Chinese crap has been removed and replaced with quality items ( ALKO 10" electric brakes & quick release corner jacks). I have fitted a larger water tank (80l) as well as a shurflo 11lpm pump and accumulator. I will post up some pics in the next day or 2.

Hi Nick,
Go the Patrol!
That sounds like a mighty awesome 'trol and camper set up. Cant wait to have a look when you post it up. Our daughter and son in law have just purchased a 3 litre GU so I am certainly taking  a lot more interest in how to " keep the pin in the grenade". :worthles:

Cheers Mike and Tracy
