That is how Amy and Rory leave Dr Who not Dr Who itself. The show continues. http://www.facebook.com/DoctorWho (http://www.facebook.com/DoctorWho)

I've been an avid Dr Who fan since the early black and whites back in my younger years. No. The Dr isn't gone ... and I hope he's around my entire life (isn't there only 13 incarnations though??)! I was completely thrilled to have him back in my life (Mr Eccleston) and it's just as good as it ever was (I'm not sure Tom Baker was my first Dr) ... it's just the effects have gotten a bit better now.
I've taped all the episodes since "series one" ... I'd love to have some of the older ones too as they were what got me started on it.
I think it's wonderful that Dr Who has survived the times as far as TV shows go. 50 Years! Wow! I'm' not that old ... yet ...

Trivia: this is the first series where both the Doctor and his companion carried over from the previous series. I think "Angels in Manhattan" is only episode 4 of the series. BTW It was available online via the ABC site prior to Saturday's screeing.

Yep great show although I don't think the current series (with current doctor) has been the best? I am fine with Matt Smith just the writing. When you mean series one I presume you mean of the newer seasons? I read somewhere that a few of the very early shows were not kept and hence why they can not be seen on DVD they are lost!

My wife has been religously watching the OLD OLD episodes on fox, even some black and white ones... I have never liked it and still don't.... it is the only thing we don't agree on,,, if you don't count AFL, V8 supercars,,,,,, ;D

Don't worry too much Kit_e,
My 25yr old son just informed me they have released Season 10 of Red Dwarf this year.
