On a serious note... is the audio any good 'normally'.
For $26 you can't really go wrong I suppose.

Audio is "Fair" i have about 2 hours of recording, first hour is early AM, on the way to work,,. night vision is OK,,,
It will record in 2, 5, 10 or 15 min intervals saving each file as it goes, looses approx 3 seconds between saves..
i had a 4 Gig card laying around so put it in to try it out,, 2 hours= 3.2 gig
As for the Audio,, well i can't play any of the other clips on youtube, the audio is a bit ... well...   you work it out,,, 3 concreters in a truck.??   ;D

Looks good, I was just thinking about one of those. The same, or similar unit is in todays Aotobarn catalog for $89.

You tradies have got to eat something more nutritious that salt & vinegar chips!!

I bought one exactly like that a few weeks ago from Zazz (http://www.zazz.com.au) - cost a bit more than $23, but not much more.  I plan to use it for off-road trips, although I can see the point of running it all the time as evidence if I have an accident (which would, of course, be caused by the other driver's stupidity - that goes without saying!).  I too had a spare 4GB SD card lying around.

Have been wanting one of these for a while but couldn't justify the expense. But for that price, I just bought one. Thanks for sharing.

I notice all the push/motorbike riders seem to have DVRs mounted on their helmets these days. Looks like we can now catch them out running red lights, lane splitting and generally breaking the law...
