Title: 12v electric jockey wheel
Post by: UR-50-LO on August 07, 2012, 08:57:30 AM
Anyone used one of these electric jockey wheels advertised on Ebay?

I am ordering a MDC T-box this weekend & my Prado wont fit underneath the carport which is infront of the garage where I want to lock up the trailer. Would this unit be good enough for me considering I keep it loaded with camp gear? I need to push it about 20ft. Trailers GVM is 1500kg, and this power wheel is rated for 1800kg and goes 7-8 meters per minute apparently. Would love to hear any pros or cons from those that have used one...

Never used one, but thought about buying that exact one for ours, considering where I have to move ours and our driveway angle.

Decided on a ratchet one instead.  Cheaper, but slower.  I've still got to site on the drawbar to give the wheel enough down force to allow it to go up the slight slope at the end of the driveway
