Hi All,
I have brought a Trackabout in Gympie. I am in Tennant Creek, so I need to get the camper trailer to Townsville, where the rest of our gear is waiting to be shipped.
I have had a few qoutes, and all are around the 970 to 1k.
Are there any other cheaper options? I was shocked to find out it was so much,

Theres heaps of threads on this sorta thing.. with many being shocked at the costs. Have a search around the forum
FWIW, I "paid" 300 odd from Qld to Melbourne.

Try Queensland Rail. In the past I have found them quite cheap.

Thanks, I will check with QR.
I did do a search, wasnt to much going nth from Brisbane.
Still shocked at the cost, but I guess it is a 1100km odd trip.

Try http://www.temando.com/ (http://www.temando.com/) they might be able to organise something. Finding someone driving up there that is happy to take some fuel money is probably the cheapest option.
