Hi all,
Went to see John Wiliamson on saturday night in Townsville. What a fantastic show. It brought back a lot of memories for me as I saw him a couple of times when i lived in Charters Towers, almost 20 years ago, and now I got to take my daughter along to see him and she had a ball. He is a brilliant performer and he really gets the crowd involved.
I think he has finished his queensland leg of the tour now, but there are plenty more shows throughout NSW, WA and VIC and I encourage anyone who can get along to see him to do so as it is well worth it.
Cheers
Wes

Good stuff grafy82. I'm also a fan. Didn't even know he was touring. Bugger! Listened to his concert near the Casino in Darwin a few years back ... from outside near the Mindel Markets. ;D
Also listened to Gina Jefferies at the footy club in Mt Isa from my comfy seat in the caravan park behind it. Goodness that girl has an annoying giggly laugh.

Saw him at the Urban Country Music Festival Caboolture and he sounds, just like he does on his albums. 8)

Thanks for posting that one up Dan. That's the first time I've heard it and I'm a huge JW fan. :-[
I believe that both he and Troy Casa Daley are our two best story/ballard singers we have and they both sound great live. 8)

That's what I love about his music. He choose not to adopt the Nashville twang and he sings songs that mean so much to this great country of ours.

Was lucky enough to see Willo and a few others on a cruise last year....
