Buy and install uhf radio

Buy a deep cycle battery

Buy a webber baby Q bbq

Finish off wiring in camper

Find my lost cargo barrier

and alot more. :'(

What makes it hard is I work weekends in realestate so time is not on my side but will get it down.

Plus find room to carry the 5 cartons of beer and other enjoyable liquid amber :cheers:

Winch went in on the weekend thanks to Daz from DaznBec,hopefully next weekend we'll get stuck into the in car dvd player for the kids to keep them quiet,new suspesion by the end of April and 2 new tyers for the plado, then a major service in May and we are ready. Trailer is set and ready just need to unload the extra rubbish out and make some room. 87 days and counting until we are on holidays ;D ;D

A hint is that it's 50 meters past the big tree, turn left for 50 mt , then left again for 50 mt and left again for 50 mt then right for 100 mt. Hope fully the women reading this will have no idea reading this map so for the guys it's next to the big tree.

Had a dry pack last week to make sure everything is going in and where it will fit looks all sorted but we are quickly running out of weekends.

We might cross on the road somewhere. We'll be taking the Kidman Way up to maybe Charleville. Our first day will be short. We're spending the first night with Kay's mum and dad in Shepparton, before we get stuck into it.

What sort of rig should we look for........??

also if anyone is looking at doing the creb track around the 24-25 let me know, we're travailing up solo and are keen to team up with others

We are on an 8 month trip around Aust and was doing the Cape. The timing ended up working in too well, and the opportunity to join the group was too tempting

I think we win the prize as having the youngest kids, a 2.5yo and a 3yo, (turning 4 on 9th July). With all the older kids, looks like we'll be set for baby sitters!!! :)

Given my extremely (!!) bad eyesight, my very capable wife (Amy) will drive most of the track. I figure i get to tackle the hairy / fun stuff, fair deal I reckon

Looking forward to catching up with everyone!! Will probably be in Cairns late this week, explore surrounds, stay at Coconut, then move to Placid the night before

Now, being a Victorian, need to figure out whether I drink xxxx the whole trip!!!??

Just thoght I would mention that they are only 15 minutes apart so the amount ofwork to relocae may not be ustiied. Just get up 15 minutes earlier on Sat am. Just a suggestion to save you a heap of work.

After actually looking into it, have booked in Placid from Wed 20th. Figured our young kids didn't need all the bells and whistles of Coconut, and 15 mins might be valuable when trying to get whipper snappers sorted that time of the morn.

Funny, when I booked into Placid, i mentioned the MySwag group. The guy remarked "there's 100's of the buggers".
