Title: Anyone using an Ice Cube Fridge from IronMan ?
Post by: UTE 701 on March 16, 2012, 10:50:19 PM
Hi ,

I was wondering if anyone owns or knows someone using the Ice Cube Fridge that IronMan 4x4 sells ?

They promote the fact they have the Danfoss Compressor , and with a 5 year warranty on the compressor , and 3 years on components , they seem ok .

They look alot like an ARB copy .

But I'm just wondering if they are any good .

They are alot cheaper than an ARB fridge .  50 litre for $ 800.

Here's the brochure :

Thanks .

I picked one up as a second fridge/freezer. I wasn't really chasing to buy that brand but I picked it up cheap from someone who won it in a golf comp and had no use for it. It runs the danfoss compressor(same as waeco) and it runs faultlessly uses bugger all juice

Bears a striking resemblance to this one.

Aahh....the old chinese.....they have no qualms about copying anything..

And they are most likely correct....out of the same factory as Waeco/ARB/Ironman/etc  etc
Except..warranty ??  While they all say 3 yrs or whatever......getting somewhere or someone to repair it would be my only hassle.......getting that sorted before buying ?? then I would have no problem with the ebay " cheapy "
