Title: Hekarewe says hi
Post by: hekarewe on February 17, 2012, 06:00:19 PM
Hi just new to this forum came across it by accident so thought i would give a go and see if it is any good. i am the proud owner of a Johnno's Camper delux off road which a tow around the country side with my trusty GUIII  ST-L Patrol a picture of which i have attached on a recent trip down to Pikapene SF.

have been camping 4wding for many years but have only had a camper since late 2010 when i found this one for sale at the Canberra camping and carravaning show. it used to belong to the Johnno's franchise in canberra but he had to sell it as Johnnos had supplied him with a new trailer. so i scored a 3 month old unit with all options  heavily discounted and full rego and remaining warrenty lucky me :)

hope to get to know a few you over time and maybe join in on some of the trips  going on  with the forum

G'day Adrian

I still need to get those pics to you :) Did you sort that rear quarter panel out?

This is Hekarewe on one of the toughest tracks at Glasshouse Mountains:

Hi and welcome to the forum.  You now need an extra hour in each day...  it is addictive!

Great setup, one of our club members pulled his Johno's through the Simpson last year with no dramas and a Patrol will go just anywhere

G'day hekarewe,

To Myswag,
I think Dave is right and wrong in "You now need an extra hour in each day...  it is addictive!",
Yes it's addictive, An hour each day? I don't think so Tim, try 3 or 4, I could be wrong there (http://www.hairfysh.com/images/Icons/Smileys/piss_myself_laughing.gif) It's probably more.
Amazing how many people come across the forum by accident, goes to show how it is growing.
Anyway, Happy & safe travels.

G'day & Welcome.

Nice setup there mate.

There is a heap of members, like me, not too far from the Blue Mountains. If you're keen post up in the Trip section when you're going, I am sure you'll get a heap of visitors.

I am keen to head out around Mt Walker again soon myself.
