Title: Hi from ray & nat.
Post by: stumpyray on March 20, 2011, 05:09:00 AM
 Hi everyone'
Been looking on the forum for a while now & thought it was about time we joined up.
We have been camping for more than 20 years, pretty much most of that time tenting it.
Just over 3 years ago we bought our camper, i don't know why we didn't do it sooner.
It's a 2002 Bushman Deluxe offroad camper, i've done a couple mods to it since buying it & will post them up latter.
Cheers.

Welcome to MySwag. How is the gal finish holding up on the trailer? I had a painted trailer and would have to respray sections from all the stone chips.

Thanks for the welcome to the forum guys,

Our camper came with the extra room which suits us real well.
When it's just us going away we leave the extra room at home & when family/friends tag along we take it with us.

One of the mods i've done was to mount a bbq on the drawbar, but more on that latter.

When we were looking at buying a camper one of the main features was that it had to be h/dipped gal'd.
Beach camping is one of the main uses of the c/t.

Yeah Inskip is a great place to destress for us, been going up there for about 20 years now.
In fact freshwater was the first place we went camping as a family when the kids were real young.
We'll be spending a week at inskip just after easter.

Cheers.

Greetings Ray and Nat,
I am a bit envious of your camping set up - looks like you have all the necessities without being over the top.
Welcome to the forum.

G'day Ray & Nat and welcome from the far north.
Well done with the camper. Have yet to experience camping with a ct. Hopefully a few days next week.  Has hardly stopped raining since we picked up our camper a few weeks ago plus work gets in the way too.
Were visiting friends down SEQ about 18 months ago and they took us for a drive around Inskip etc - looked just beautiful for camping.  Can imagine why you love it so much.
Anyway, enjoy your time on the forum.
Cheers
