Title: Filling gas bottles at cape york
Post by: rockygu4.8 on January 26, 2011, 01:06:46 PM
Hi all was talking to the sister in law the other day and she quized me on the ability to fill her gas bottles up whilst up at cape york later in the year. Now i initially thought this was a silly question but she then pointed out that most outlets that use to fill bottles only do swap n go bottles now which i had to admit was true. BCF and BBQ's galore in rton still fill bottles. Does anyone know or anyone who has been to the cape recently know if most servos or at least the main ones will fill gas bottles up the cape. I would imagine seisa and bamaga would at least have these facilties thanks Paul.

Paul,
Depends on how long they are going for but we topped up our 4.5kg gas at Cooktown before heading north and didn't need any more for weeks. Ours was only for the camper trailer stove use.
