i've been lurking here for some time and thought it's about time to say hello.
up until now i had both a camper and a van, camper although only light and small served us well taking us through the cape with no problems.
friends have bought the camper and the van is being handed over to new owners on australia day.
then friday we order our new camper.
first outing will be to williams river (clarence town) with a group of friends.
happy camping to all.
cheers steve
ps looking forward to having a few quiet ones with like minded campers.

Welcome gqcamper. Mmmmm new camper watch out for the dreaded "mod..itis" bug, it's very infectious I'm told ;D .
Plenty of great camper minded people on here so won't be hard to round up a few to have a quiet one or three with.
Have fun, and I hope the new CT brings you lots of enjoyment

thanks all i'm ordering from a mob out at penrith called southern cross.
i've been to their workshop and had a good look around their trailers.
they make the trailers themselves, tops are imported but look to be one of the better ones.
it will be a 12ft side fold soft floor.
they tell me about 3to4 wks from ordering to pick up so that gives me time to install batteries and do wiring before the clarence town trip.
i already have batteries, solar panel and accessories from previous set ups i've had over the years.
will post pics when it arrives.
