WILDLIFE Information Rescue and Education Services (WIRES) has released an app to help people report sick or injured native wildlife.The app, for iPhone and Android, enables users to seek an animal rescue, find a 24-hour veterinary service, upload photos to help WIRES identify an animal and get adviceUsers can also report rescues interstate and make a donation to WIRES.A WIRES spokeswoman said they had a 400 per cent increase in calls in the past 10 years with more than 100,000 incoming calls a year.Download for free at App Store or Google Play
