Hi,
Google can (and did)  track our every move around Aus in 2019. Very accurate unless we were out of cell coverage.
I'm surprised we even need a special App, let alone physically photograph the QR code.
Cheers

Every month I get a map of where I've been. Some turn off the location thingy, I know a few people who don't want apps or google knowing where they are, you know, Big Brother knows too much.
You don't use magic to disappear, all you need is a 4wd & a Swag ;)

Hi,
Our family all use the location sharing service. Saves phonecalls to sort meal times etc. Even just as a check that they got home ok. All pretty boring data really!

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-12-30/nt-rangers-capture-300-crocodiles-in-2021-amid-good-wet-season/100730704

"In Buffalo Creek, people have been caught in waist-deep water casting a line in the hope of reeling in the elusive one-metre barramundi."

Which lots of fishermen do ::), but

"What they do not realise is the very real risk of being reeled in by a crocodile, like the 3.78m metre saltie rangers picked up there on Wednesday.

It's the second crocodile measuring more than 3.7 metres to be captured in the area in a week."

You have to have rocks in your head! :o

Old Parliament House in Canberra has caught alight as a crowd of protesters have reportedly been heard chanting "let it burn".
The fire was extinguished in less than 15 minutes after ACT firefighters responded to reports of the blaze at about 11.45am, according to the Emergency Services Agency.
A spokesperson said police extinguished a small fire at the front of building.
