I would of thought It's QLD Health's responsibilty to provide the vaccine as other states have through Hubs, Chemists & health care professionals.
So with 400 000 people in SE qld still unvaccined, I guess they have to do something and yes, why aren't other businesses involved?

Boosters will be needed for the people who had the earliest doses. Front line workers such as aged care, border control, health care staff and obviously the elderly and immunocompromised. They need to continue protection for these people as their immunity will wane, probably just as we are opening the borders to everyone. Most of us will catch covid and hopefully as we are able to be vaccinated will have only minor health issues. That will have the same effect but obviously we can't have those front line workers and vulnerable people without appropriate immunity, or we would be back in lockdown as hospitals, border controls and aged care facilities collapsed.

Not a question, just a random shake of the head in disgust ... :'( :-[

Thunderstorm rolling in last night, so picked up the little torch off the dining room hutch & put it in my pocket for Justin.

Walked into the bedroom a little later & glanced over at where my handheld spotlight lives hanging on the bedhead, but it's not there ???

Where on Earth is it ???

Used it last Saturday arvo while we were changing a headlight bulb in the Terrorist, so must have left it in the garage ??? No ???

Left it in the car as I was putting the book away ??? No ???

Glance back at the car as I'm walking away scratching my head &, hang on, what's that ??? :o

The truly scary bit is that the car has been out ~4 times since Saturday & it's still sitting there, after both driving around & sitting in public carparks! ::)

I drove home from the supermarket, approx 3kms from home with an 80kmh zone on the highway to find the twin pack fluro globes still sitting on the roof when I got home tucked up against a roof rack leg and it went no further. How the f…k does that happen, pure arse I’d reckon.

Why is it whenever you order a new part to replace one you lost you find the one you lost?

I lost half the spring pin in a locking pin for my saw table, and had to order a new one (on Thursday) from the UK, despite turning the garage upside down looking for it...

And of course I found it today sitting on top of a fuel tin, where I safely stored it for an hour, 2 1/2 years ago...

But you usually find the original 5 minutes after you get the replacement, so does that mean the new one only just arrived ??? >:D

I waited 2 months for a Campy bike chain to turn up. Ordered another chain from a different supplier at a premium as I needed to finish the bike build. The original chain I ordered turned up the next day :(

I had a similar situation the other day. I was waiting for an order from an online pet supplies store, and after a month I contacted via online chat, to see what happened to my order. I waited a month because I knew there was likely to be delays, it usually takes about 3 days.

They said they'd resend the order via another courier. They gave me the tracking number and all the couriers site says is that it was in transit. I said it may be just as easy to leave it with the original courier, if another courier was going to take just as long. They said no, it should be quicker.

I waited another three weeks, and my dog was now due for his monthly worm and flea pill. So I thought bugger, I'll just get a single pill from the local pet supplies. Nup, only have packs of three, smallest they have. Paid $73.00 odd for three pills. The next day the order arrived, with the pack of six pills for $79.00 odd.
4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan.

Forgot it was even on, its like Adelaide having a public holiday for the Adelaide Cup, it’s a joke,  they have a crowd of about 15000 inebriated once a year punters.
